In general these are short rivers, but there are some exceptions. Most notable is the Petitcodiac River system, with its associated streams such as the Pollett R.

INNER BAY vs UPPER BAY - In general, scientists call the rivers are called "Inner Bay of Fundy" salmon rivers while residents refer to the region as "Upper Bay of Fundy". Thus one can hear both terms used.
