About the Role:
As a Donor Support – Stewardship Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our development department. Your primary responsibility will be donor gifts and inquires efficiently, ensuring donors understand the impact of their support. You will maintain accurate records, assist with donor stewardship, and provide exceptional customer service.

Located at our Chamcook, NB office this role will report directly to the Membership Manager and is an in-person position with some flexibility to work from home when necessary. Stakeholder engagement is a key component of this role and therefore excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process incoming gifts and outgoing responses according to our gift acceptance policy and protocol.
  • Respond to donor inquiries and requests via telephone, mail and email.
  • Maintain accurate records of donor interactions, gifts, and contact information
  • Assist with the stewardship and cultivation of donor and supporters through various communications channels

 

Qualifications, Education and Experience:

  • Post-secondary or equivalent experience preferred, especially in office administration, finance, or non-profit management.
  • Entry level position: prior experience not required, willing to train the right candidate
  • Technical skills, excellent computer literacy, comfort using Microsoft Suite, Outlook and Teams.
  • Soft skills, financial numeracy, problem solving, verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and attention to detail.
