ASF’s work is complex and varied, from headwater dam removals to adult salmon tracking off west Greenland. All along the way communicating our vision, goals, and values is critical to success.

ASF is expanding to meet that challenge by hiring a bilingual Communications Manager. We work like an agency inside ASF, supporting everything from conservation and research projects to fundraising campaigns. We are also a trusted resource for member organizations of our federation, including 103 councils and watershed groups throughout Maine, Quebec, and Atlantic Canada.

We strive for consistency and creative delivery. We make sure people can find the information they need about our work and we represent ASF to the world.

Sometimes the communication team has to buckle down and focus on the details – the annual report won’t write itself. But other times we have the freedom and resources to be creative, get out in the field, and take risks.

The communication team is being challenged to up its game and help grow the organization, so ASF can do more for wild salmon, wild rivers, and the hundreds of thousands of people who share our passion.

If this sounds good to you check out the full job ad and apply to careers@asf.ca by December 15th.
