Chad Pike is the Founder, Managing Partner, and CIO of Makarora, a real estate investment firm based in New York City. He spent 25 years at Blackstone, where he was Co-Head of the Real Estate Group, Co-Founder of the Tactical Opportunities business, Vice Chairman of Europe, and a member of various investment committees. He is also Chairman of Eleven Capital Management and Founder of several adventure-focused businesses, including Eleven, Eleven Angling, Eleven Skiing, and Acme Marinas.

A passionate outdoorsman and conservationist, Chad is Chairman of the Grassy Creek Foundation and the North Atlantic Salmon Fund. He served on the Board of Directors of the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation from 2009 to 2022, where he co-chaired the Aquatic Conservation sub-committee. He is a long-time supporter of the Atlantic Salmon Federation. Chad holds a BA in History, with honors, from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he sits on the Honors Carolina Advisory Board.
