Christopher H. Buckley, Jr., a retired partner of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, founded and chaired the firm’s Environment & Natural Resources Practice Group. Recognized nationally as a leading environmental lawyer, he has advised Fortune 500 companies and taken on major pro bono cases for groups like the Atlantic Salmon Federation and Trout Unlimited.

A graduate of Harvard Law School, Buckley is an avid conservationist and lifelong fly fisherman. He served as Chairman of the Atlantic Salmon Federation (US) and received the Lee Wulff Conservation Award in 2015. He has also held board positions with the Environmental Law Institute, Everglades Foundation, and Bonefish & Tarpon Trust.
