David Lewis Goodman is a lifelong fisherman who “shoots when he cannot fish” and lives with his old terrier near a river or flat. A graduate of the University of Virginia and its law school, he shifted from law to real estate finance, where he built a reputation for integrity.

He is the founding president of the North Atlantic Salmon Fund–US and a trustee of the Game Conservancy USA. Deeply committed to animal welfare, David continues to support conservation causes and spend as much time as possible in nature.
