John Thompson is the former Executive Vice-Chair of IBM Corporation and former CEO of IBM Canada. He served as Chair of TD Bank and held board positions at Royal Philips NV and Thomson Reuters.

He was Chancellor of Western University, a Director of the Canadian Conference Board, and was appointed Officer of the Order of Canada in 2012. John resides in Toronto.
