Livingston Parsons Jr. (Honorary)
Livingston “Livy” Parsons of Albuquerque, NM, is retired from private practice in general surgery. He is a Clinical Professor of Surgery at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine and formerly served as President of the New Mexico State Board of Medical Examiners. Dr. Parsons holds an A.B. from Princeton University and an M.D. from Columbia University’s College of Physicians and Surgeons.
His military service includes time as Chief of Surgery at the 48th MASH during the Korean War. He is past president of the Southwest Surgical Congress and the Albuquerque Bernalillo County Medical Society. Livy is a member of the Anglers’ Club of New York, The Nature Conservancy, and the National Wildlife Federation.
