Dixon Stroud of West Grove, PA, graduated from the University of Pennsylvania and owns a chain of convenience stores. He is dedicated to preserving open space in Chester County and is an honorary board member of S.A.V.E. He also serves on boards for the Stroud Water Research Center, Brandywine Polo Club, and Cheshire Hunt Conservancy.

Dixon chairs a charity steeplechase each May in Willowdale, PA.
