Chairman
Eric Roberts is a co-founder of Valence Advantage Life Sciences and has over 25 years of experience in investment banking and private equity. He held senior roles at Lehman Brothers and Dillon, Read & Co. Mr. Roberts serves on the board of Invuity Inc. and is a Trustee of the American Museum of Fly Fishing. He earned a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
Donald Calder
Vice Chairman & Treasurer
Donald Calder is the former Chairman of Clear Harbor Asset Management and former President of G.L. Ohrstrom & Co. He has held numerous executive and board positions throughout his career.
Mr. Calder currently serves as a Director of Central Securities Corporation and the Atlantic Salmon Federation (US). He is a graduate of Princeton University and Harvard Business School and served in the U.S. Navy.
Tracey Clarke
Secretary
Tracey Clarke is a retired executive with a 30-year career in corporate strategy and technology, including leadership roles at IBM and PwC. She is actively engaged in the conservation and sporting communities.
She is a member of the Woman Flyfishers Club and Chesapeake Women Anglers. Tracey resides in New Jersey and travels extensively for fishing and hunting.
Mark Colman
Mark Colman is the founder of Alta Capital LLC and brings over 25 years of experience in investment banking and capital markets. He currently serves on the boards of Tombill Mines Ltd. and the Tri-State Alpine Ski Racing Association.
Mark holds both a B.A., magna cum laude, and an M.B.A. from Harvard University. He is based in the United States and holds dual American and British citizenship.
Alex Taylor
Alex Taylor is Chairman and CEO of Cox Enterprises, leading strategic investments across broadband, automotive, media, and sustainability sectors. He serves on the boards of the Atlantic Salmon Federation, PATH Foundation, the Carter Center, and Vanderbilt University.
Alex holds a degree in Human and Organizational Development from Vanderbilt University and resides in Atlanta.
John Cornell
John Cornell is a retired partner of the law firm Jones Day, where he specialized in employee benefits and executive compensation. He is a former Trustee and Trustee Emeritus of Colby College and serves on the board of the Atlantic Salmon Federation (US).
Mr. Cornell is admitted to the Maine and New York Bars and is a member of the Anglers’ Club of New York and the Megantic Fish and Game Corporation.

Tom Watson
Tom Watson of Key Largo, FL, is a retired lawyer focused on conservation efforts for Atlantic salmon and African game animals. An active salmon angler for 45 years, he has fished in Canada, Iceland, Russia, and the UK. Tom holds a B.A. from Colby College and a law degree from Boston College Law School.
He has served as Trustee and Overseer at Colby College and is a member of the Massachusetts and Federal District Court bars.
Reed Webster
Reed Webster grew up in Englewood, NJ, and has been a Financial Advisor at Morgan Stanley in Chicago for 25 years. He manages portfolios for high net worth clients, private foundations, and endowments. Reed holds an M.B.A. from Northwestern University, a B.A. from Dartmouth College, and CFA and CIMA certifications.
Introduced to salmon fishing in 1998, Reed is active in fishing conservation and the ASF board. He lives in Lake Geneva, WI, and spends part of the year in Delray Beach, FL, with his wife Kass and their four dogs.
Robert N. Wilson
Robert Wilson is Chairman of Mevion, a medical device company, and former Vice Chairman of Johnson & Johnson. He serves on the boards of Hess Corporation, Synta Pharmaceuticals, and Charles Schwab Corporation. Robert is past Chairman of the Environmental and Occupational Health Sciences Institute and the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America.
An avid fly fisherman, Robert chairs ASF’s Research and Environmental Committee and supports land and water conservation. His interests also include education, historic preservation, art, and tennis.
Jonathan Winthrop
Jonathan Winthrop lives in Boston, MA, with his wife Sydney and their two teenage daughters. He has long been dedicated to land conservation and currently manages Joinstock Holdings LLC and Arbella Farms LLC. He is also the past chairman of Groton Land Company, Inc.
An avid salmon angler, Jonathan has been a member of the Moisie Salmon Club for over twenty years and has fished there since the mid-1970s. Recently, he expanded his salmon conservation efforts by acquiring an equity position in waters on the Miramichi River. He has been a Director of the Atlantic Salmon Federation since 1995.
E.U. Curtis Bohlen (Honorary)
Curtis “Buff” Bohlen of Washington, D.C., is retired from U.S. government service, having served as Assistant Secretary for Oceans and International Environmental and Scientific Affairs at the State Department. He previously was Deputy Assistant Secretary for Fish and Wildlife and Parks at the Interior Department, supervising the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the National Park Service, and served as a special advisor to the Secretary of the Interior.
Buff also held senior roles at the World Wildlife Fund and was an embassy officer in Egypt and Afghanistan. He currently serves on the board of Ocean Conservancy. In 2002, he received the ASF’s Lee Wulff Salmon Conservation Award for his work on the salmon conservation agreement with Greenland.
Livingston Parsons Jr. (Honorary)
Livingston “Livy” Parsons of Albuquerque, NM, is retired from private practice in general surgery. He is a Clinical Professor of Surgery at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine and formerly served as President of the New Mexico State Board of Medical Examiners. Dr. Parsons holds an A.B. from Princeton University and an M.D. from Columbia University’s College of Physicians and Surgeons.
His military service includes time as Chief of Surgery at the 48th MASH during the Korean War. He is past president of the Southwest Surgical Congress and the Albuquerque Bernalillo County Medical Society. Livy is a member of the Anglers’ Club of New York, The Nature Conservancy, and the National Wildlife Federation.
Royall Victor III (Honorary)
Royall Victor of Palm Beach, FL, was Managing Director of Chase Securities, Inc. and served on multiple corporate boards including Marine Harvest International and U.S. Industries. He was Chairman of the Board of Trustees at Middlesex School and is active on boards including the Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties.
He holds a B.A. from Yale University and served in the U.S. Army. Royall is a member of the Ristigouche Salmon Club, the Anglers Club of New York, and various social and civic organizations in Palm Beach and New York.
Joan Wulff (Honorary)
Joan Wulff is an Honorary Director of the ASF and a senior member of the Outdoor Writers Association of America. She is the author of four books and wrote a fly casting column for Fly Rod & Reel magazine for 22 years. A former national casting champion, Joan produced the acclaimed video The Dynamics of Fly Casting.
She consults for the R.L. Winston Rod Company and Royal Wulff Products and teaches at The Wulff School of Fly Fishing in Lew Beach, NY, founded with the late Lee Wulff. Joan is a founder and director of the Catskill Fly Fishing Center and Museum and a trustee of the International Game Fish Association.
Brian Porter
Brian Porter served as CEO of Scotiabank from 2013 to 2023 and currently chairs the University Health Network Board of Trustees and Huron University College’s Board of Governors. He holds a B.Comm. from Dalhousie University, honorary Doctor of Laws degrees from Dalhousie and Ryerson Universities, and completed Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program.
Brian is Chair of the Atlantic Salmon Board (Canada) and serves on several corporate boards. He is active in arts communities and received the King Charles III Coronation Medal in 2025 for his dedicated service to the province.
Charles Reed
Charles Reed of Cambridge, MA, is founder and principal of CNW Capital Partners LLC, a Boston-based real estate development firm with 20 years of experience in residential, commercial, and retail sectors. His expertise spans market analysis, financing, permitting, asset management, and property disposition.
Previously, Charles was COO at Raymond Property Company. He holds a B.A. in Modern History from Brown University and master’s and doctoral degrees in Modern European History from Oxford University.
Dorothy Shipley
Dorothy Shipley is an avid fly fisher passionate about connecting people to angling and conservation. Her favorite fishing destination is her family camp on the Grand Cascapedia River in Quebec. Professionally, she is a physical therapist specializing in cancer rehabilitation, with a focus on breast cancer.
Dory has served on the board of Casting for Recovery, which supports women with breast cancer through fly-fishing retreats, and is a member of the International Women Fly Fishers.
Tom Sieniewicz
Tom Sieniewicz is a partner at the international architecture and design firm NBBJ, where he is leading a $1.6 billion net-zero carbon expansion for Massachusetts General Hospital. Born in Quebec, he studied at the Rhode Island School of Design and Harvard’s Graduate School of Design and lives in Cambridge, MA. A third-generation salmon angler, he is passing on the tradition to his sons.
Tom is passionate about river conservation, having served as president of the Charles River Watershed Association. He is a board member of the Greater Boston Food Bank and a long-time member of the Cambridge Planning Board. He also enjoys gardening, marathon running, breadmaking, boatbuilding, and painting—particularly river scenes, some of which have been stolen, to his pride.
W.B. Dixon Stroud Jr.
Dixon Stroud of West Grove, PA, graduated from the University of Pennsylvania and owns a chain of convenience stores. He is dedicated to preserving open space in Chester County and is an honorary board member of S.A.V.E. He also serves on boards for the Stroud Water Research Center, Brandywine Polo Club, and Cheshire Hunt Conservancy.
Dixon chairs a charity steeplechase each May in Willowdale, PA.

Remy Trafelet
Remy W. Trafelet is President and CEO of Trafelet & Company, LLC, a private investment firm, and Founder and Executive Chairman of Hazeltree Treasury Solutions, the leading treasury services provider to the alternative asset management industry. He also serves as President of Camp de Pêche de La Rivière Moisie.
Mr. Trafelet sits on several corporate, educational, and charitable boards. He is a graduate of Phillips Exeter Academy and Dartmouth College.
Richard J. Warren
Richard Warren of Bangor, ME, is Chairman Emeritus of ASF and Editor and Publisher of the Bangor Daily News. He serves on the board of Mutual Insurance Co. Ltd. in Bermuda and is a member of the Roosevelt Campobello Island Park Commission. Richard graduated from Deerfield Academy and Trinity College, Hartford, CT.
Parker Gilbert Jr.
Parker Gilbert is a retired marketing executive who held senior product management roles at major consumer brands including American Home Products, Campbell Soup, and Playtex Products. His final corporate position was Vice President of Marketing for Banana Boat Suncare. He later served as Managing Partner at Brand Building Ventures, investing in early-stage, consumer-driven companies. He has also served on the boards of the Bedford Historical Society and the Beaver Dam Sanctuary.
A lifelong salmon angler, Parker began fishing with his father in Scotland, Iceland, and Canada, and now shares that passion with his two sons. He holds a BA from Middlebury College and an MBA from the Stern School of Business at New York University.
David Goodman
David Lewis Goodman is a lifelong fisherman who “shoots when he cannot fish” and lives with his old terrier near a river or flat. A graduate of the University of Virginia and its law school, he shifted from law to real estate finance, where he built a reputation for integrity.
He is the founding president of the North Atlantic Salmon Fund–US and a trustee of the Game Conservancy USA. Deeply committed to animal welfare, David continues to support conservation causes and spend as much time as possible in nature.
Jason Griswold
Jason Griswold of Concord, MA is the Founder and Managing Director of Brown Aviation Lease LLC, an aircraft leasing company based in Bedford, MA. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Colgate University and a master’s degree in Entrepreneurship from Babson College – Franklin W. Olin Graduate School of Business. Jason is a Managing Member of his family holding company and serves on the board of Bluewater Worldwide.
He is an advisory board member at Western Michigan University College of Aviation and mentors at the Thought In Action Institute. Jason has served on the ASF NY Dinner Committee since 2011. An avid outdoorsman, he is passionate about helping organizations identify and recruit the next generation of constituents.
John Hettinger
John Hettinger is the President of Kirchhoff, a real estate principal investment and asset management firm. He began his career in M&A and financial restructuring at Perella Weinberg Partners.
He serves on the Harvard Alumni Real Estate Board, the Policy Advisory Board at UC Berkeley’s Fisher Center, and the Board of Trustees of Dutchess Day School. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida and his MBA from Harvard Business School.
Stephen Hibbard
Steve Hibbard is Chairman of the Investment Committee and a member of the Finance and Development Committees of ASF, as well as the Boston Dinner Committee. He is a Director of the Miramichi Salmon Association, co-chairing its Membership Committee and serving on the Investment Committee. Steve is also a member and Director of the Miramichi Fish and Game Club, where he has fished for over 35 years.
Formerly president of Middleton & Company, Inc., a Boston-based investment counsel firm, Steve has over 44 years of experience in investment management, brokerage, and investment banking. He lives in Weston, MA with his wife Ginnie, an avid salmon angler, and they have two sons.
Aaron Kennon
Aaron Kennon is a lifelong outdoorsman and devoted Atlantic salmon angler whose passion for the species began during childhood summers spent visiting family in Newfoundland. He continues to fish for Atlantic salmon across Newfoundland, New Brunswick, Quebec, and even as far afield as Sweden. Aaron brings this same dedication and connection to nature to his work with the Atlantic Salmon Federation, where he serves on both the Finance and Investment Committees.
Professionally, Aaron has nearly 30 years of experience in asset management, wealth management, and banking, having held senior leadership roles in major financial centres including Manhattan, Tokyo, Hong Kong, and London. In 2009, he co-founded Clear Harbor Asset Management and currently serves as its Chief Executive Officer. He holds a B.A. from Yale University and lives in Old Greenwich, Connecticut.
William Mclanahan
Will Mclanahan is a Senior Portfolio Manager at Moore Capital Management, where he has worked since 2011. He leads a global equities business with a focus on financials, technology, data infrastructure, and consumer sectors. Employing a range of long/short strategies—including macro, thematic, and stock-specific—he manages a team of six analysts. Prior to joining Moore, Will was a Senior Partner at Level Global Investors, where he oversaw all non-technology investment strategies and helped build the firm’s financials practice as part of its founding employee group. He began his career at Chemical Bank and later worked in the long-only space at Sound Shore Management. He holds degrees from Georgetown University and Columbia Business School.
Will lives in New York City with his wife and has three adult children. He is an avid sportsman and conservationist, and in addition to his involvement with the Atlantic Salmon Federation, he serves on the Board of the Peconic Baykeepers.
Stephen O’Brien Jr.
Stephen O’Brien Jr. is a passionate fly fisherman with global experience pursuing Atlantic salmon in Canada, Ireland, Scotland, and Russia. A longtime board member of Bonefish Tarpon Trust, he has co-led their Artist of the Year program since 2010. One of the youngest ASF board members, he brings over 30 years of expertise in sporting art, specializing in advisory, gallery, book publishing, and auctions.
Steve is founder of Copley Fine Art Auctions, which has set numerous world records in sporting art. He is widely recognized as an ambassador in the field and co-authored Elmer Crowell: Father of American Bird Carving, nominated for Historic New England’s Annual Book Award.
Joseph R. Perella
Joe Perella of New York, NY, is a founding partner and head of Perella Weinberg Partners, focusing on merger advisory and asset management. Previously, he was Vice Chairman of Morgan Stanley and founder of Wasserstein Perella. Joe holds a B.A. from Lehigh University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
He serves on multiple nonprofit boards including ASF, Lincoln Center, and Yale Cancer Center. An experienced salmon angler, Joe is a member of several prestigious clubs and credits mentors for introducing him to Atlantic salmon fishing.
Chad Pike
Chad Pike is the Founder, Managing Partner, and CIO of Makarora, a real estate investment firm based in New York City. He spent 25 years at Blackstone, where he was Co-Head of the Real Estate Group, Co-Founder of the Tactical Opportunities business, Vice Chairman of Europe, and a member of various investment committees. He is also Chairman of Eleven Capital Management and Founder of several adventure-focused businesses, including Eleven, Eleven Angling, Eleven Skiing, and Acme Marinas.
A passionate outdoorsman and conservationist, Chad is Chairman of the Grassy Creek Foundation and the North Atlantic Salmon Fund. He served on the Board of Directors of the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation from 2009 to 2022, where he co-chaired the Aquatic Conservation sub-committee. He is a long-time supporter of the Atlantic Salmon Federation. Chad holds a BA in History, with honors, from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he sits on the Honors Carolina Advisory Board.
Jonas Clark
Jonas Clarke is a venture investor and entrepreneur who grew up in the fly fishing industry through his family’s small business. Surrounded by bamboo rods and salmon stories since childhood, he frequently fishes in eastern Canada and Iceland.
He holds a BA from Haverford College and graduate degrees from both Harvard and Yale.

Edgar M. Cullman Jr.
Edgar Cullman is Managing Partner of CULBRO LLC, the Cullman family’s private equity investment firm focused on the consumer and B2B services sectors. Previously, he was President and CEO of General Cigar, makers of brands such as Macanudo and Partagas.
A Yale graduate and U.S. Army veteran, Edgar serves on the boards of Mount Sinai Hospital, the Smithsonian Institution, the Atlantic Salmon Federation, and others. He and his wife, Elissa, live in New York City and have three children and multiple grandchildren.
Jon Eggleston
Jon Eggleston has practiced tax and corporate law since 1973, with expertise in mergers and acquisitions, international taxation, and estate planning. He previously served as a trial attorney in the U.S. Department of Justice Tax Division and is a past president of the Vermont Bar Association.
Jon earned his law degree from Cornell and an LL.M. in Taxation from Georgetown. He co-owns and helps manage Sandhill River Lodge in Labrador, and spends his fishing seasons in Quebec, New Brunswick, or Labrador in pursuit of Atlantic salmon.
Marshall Field Sr.
Marshall Field is a fifth-generation member of a prominent Chicago family with a legacy in business and civic affairs. He is a Harvard graduate and former publisher of the Chicago Sun-Times and Chicago Daily News. He served on the boards of the Art Institute of Chicago, Rush University Medical Center, and the Field Museum.
Field is a dedicated conservationist and active in organizations such as the World Wildlife Fund, Everglades Foundation, Nature Conservancy, and the Atlantic Salmon Federation. In retirement, he focuses on philanthropy related to the environment, arts, education, and health through the Marshall and Jamee Field Family Fund at the Chicago Community Trust.
Mollie Fitzgerald
Mollie Fitzgerald of Wexford, PA, is co-owner of Frontiers International Travel, a family business specializing in global sporting travel. She joined the company after graduating cum laude from Duke University in 1985.
An avid traveler and angler, Mollie fishes regularly in Russia, Iceland, and Norway, with a strong interest in salmon conservation and sustainable travel.
Paul Fitzgerald
Paul Fitzgerald enjoyed a 42-year career at J.P. Morgan and predecessor institutions. He graduated from Middlebury College in 1959 and is active in several conservation organizations, including Trout Unlimited.
Paul serves as Secretary-Treasurer of Nine Mile Land and Cattle Company and Managing Partner of The Lower Missouri Fly Fishers. He is a member of the Anglers’ Club of New York and the Union Club of NYC.
Lawrence Flinn Jr.
Lawrence Flinn is a retired media entrepreneur who helped shape the cable and satellite television industries in the U.S. After earning degrees from Yale and Columbia Business School, he began his career at Morgan Stanley before acquiring a small cable company in upstate New York. He expanded it significantly and went on to found United Video Satellite Group (UVSG), a pioneer in satellite distribution that brought WGN-TV and other programming to millions of homes nationwide.
Under Flinn’s leadership, UVSG launched the Prevue Channel (now the TV Guide Channel) and other successful services, growing annual revenues from $7 million to over $1 billion. He sold his cable systems in 1995 and retired in 1998 after divesting from UVSG. He and his wife, Stephanie, live in Jupiter Island, Florida, and have three children.
Lloyd Gerry
Lloyd Gerry is Managing Partner at Catalyst Partners LLC, a private investment firm based in New York. He has a lifelong interest in environmental conservation and supports numerous organizations in this space.
Mr. Gerry holds a bachelor’s degree from Denison University and a master’s from Columbia University. He lives in Pound Ridge, NY, and is a member of the National Council of the World Wildlife Fund.
Jonathan Berger
Jonathan Berger is the CEO and CIO of TP Birch Grove and Co-Head of Credit at Third Point. He co-founded Birch Grove Capital in 2013 and was previously President and CIO of Stone Tower Capital, where he oversaw $17 billion in alternative credit investments. His earlier roles include co-founder of Pegasus Capital Advisors and positions at UBS, Rosecliff Inc., and Salomon Brothers.
He holds a BS in Economics with a concentration in Finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Jonathan serves on the Wharton Leadership Advisory Board and as a Trustee for Race Against Dementia.
Robert Bonczek
Bob Bonczek of Chapel Hill, NC, is co-founder and President of AspenTree Capital and also co-founder, President, and CFO of MedBlue Incubator. He previously held senior management roles at DuPont and Conoco.
Bob has served on several healthcare and biotech boards and was a co-founder of the Wildlife Habitat Council. He holds degrees in chemistry and law from the University of North Carolina and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He is a member of the Sutter Salmon Club on the Miramichi River.
Christopher Buckley (Chairman Emeritus)
Christopher H. Buckley, Jr., a retired partner of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, founded and chaired the firm’s Environment & Natural Resources Practice Group. Recognized nationally as a leading environmental lawyer, he has advised Fortune 500 companies and taken on major pro bono cases for groups like the Atlantic Salmon Federation and Trout Unlimited.
A graduate of Harvard Law School, Buckley is an avid conservationist and lifelong fly fisherman. He served as Chairman of the Atlantic Salmon Federation (US) and received the Lee Wulff Conservation Award in 2015. He has also held board positions with the Environmental Law Institute, Everglades Foundation, and Bonefish & Tarpon Trust.
